- Liaising with clients and reporting progress to key stakeholders and colleagues involved in the project.
- Supervising construction workers and managing the hiring process for subcontractors.
- Ensuring the project progresses according to defined timescales.
- Overseeing health and safety inspections to meet required standards.
- Checking site reports, designs, and drawings to ensure proper project execution.
- Addressing and resolving onsite issues and escalating them to the appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
Profile requirements:
- Level 6 Civil Engineering Site Management degree, NVQ Level 6 Construction Site Management, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in the UK construction sector, ideally with BESS, solar PV, and EVCP projects.
- Strong initiative, logical thinking, and effective multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
Location, remuneration, and timeframe of the Site Manager role:
- Cambridgeshire
- 12-month contract with potential to extend
- Full-time onsite (5 days per week)
