Customer Support Assistant

Our client is a leading manufacturer who provides clean, green, renewable energy across the UK.

Due to growth, they have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join their expanding support team.

Duties

You will be responsible for ensuring customers' orders are correct and properly loaded onto the ERP system as well as being the main point of contact for customers to reach out to when they have questions regarding products. (Training will be given in the use of the ERP system).

You will be responsible for providing excellent service to a small number of specific accounts.

Customer-focused and the ability to communicate effectively with other colleagues in the purchasing and dispatch teams.

Experience in a customer- facing role, perhaps sales would be an advantage.

Some communication will be written and some over the phone.

Training will be provided in the specifics of the products, so an aptitude for communication and delivering excellent customer experience is very important.

Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for inbound orders and post-sale product queries, representing the company in a positive light.
  • Checking and optimising customer orders and entering them on the system.
  • Booking transport - UK pallet line, full lorries and international deliveries.
  • Obtaining forecast information from customers and understanding their needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records.

Attributes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • Professional and courteous manner.

Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays. (3 days to be used for Christmas shutdown)
