Working for a local charity providing vital support to the operations and customer services team.Working within the Customer services team you will be supporting the team to answer incoming telephone calls and emails which could be about matters such as: changing/amending direct debits/updating tenant information/ logging repair requests and creating work orders, taking payments. You will also help support the team with various administration tasks which will include, managing 3 inboxes, downloading the out of hours report in the morning and actioning any follow up required, supporting benefits and universal credit portals, liaising with surveyors for inspection orders, creating purchase order numbers, updating housing management systems, and any other administration tasks to fully support the team. This role will be varied and wide ranging so we are looking for candidates who are willing to help in anyway they can with a proactive can do attitude.To be considered for this role it would be ideal if you had any administration or customer service experience within a charity or housing organisation. Alternatively some customer service or administration experience from other sectors would be ideal. You should be highly organised, personable and an excellent communicator with a proven ability to work proactively to deliver exceptional results. You should be reliable, committed, have good common sense and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team. You should be highly IT literate.This role is initially a temporary role but there is a permanent position available for anyone who would be interested and demonstrates the right attitude and abilities. The role is part time - 30 hours per week, ideally 6 hours per day but with some flexibility in hours worked - you could for 4 days per week for example. This role is office based and is located on the outskirts of Cambridge with free parking. This is a great opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a role where you can really add value and make a difference. A competitive hourly rate of circa £15 per hour is offered and we are looking for 3 candidates to start immediately on an ongoing basis.
