Our client is seeking to recruit a native speaking German and/or Dutch Customer Service Advisor to join their small team. Candidates will be able to demonstrate previous experience within a customer service/administrative based role. You will have an excellent customer-focussed manner and be a friendly and enthusiastic team player, with a flexible attitude to assist and provide support wherever needed.
This is a part-time role, working 20 hours a week. Your working pattern will be 4 hours per 4 days (2 days from home, 2 from the office) plus 4 hours during the weekend anytime from home (preferably 2 hours on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday).
PLEASE NOTE: Office is currently located South Cambridge but will be moving to Central Cambridge in next 2-3 months.
Key Duties
- Reply to customer enquiries, mainly via email, but also taking some calls (when office based)
- Amend bookings and arrange/address special requests
- Pro-actively deal with any customer issues arising
- Addressing customer complaints, escalating where necessary
- Providing additional support to the team during quieter periods. This can include assisting with translation work
Key Skills and Experience
- Native German and/or Dutch speaker (fluency in both written and spoken English and Native Language)
- Good problem-solving skills
- Committed and hard-working with a flexible approach
- Demonstrable experience with Customer Service/Administrative based roles
- Previous experience within the Travel industry would be advantageous
- Self-starter, motivated with a positive 'can-do’ attitude
- Well-organised with the ability to prioritise workload
- Great customer-focused manner, effective communicator
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT skills with competency in MS Office
