We are working with a leading technology company in Cambridgeshire.
Role Responsibilities:
- Applying machine learning tools and statistical methods to create solutions.
- Develop algorithms and design experiments to integrate, manage, analyse, and extract data, delivering customized reports for colleagues and clients.
- Generate clear, insightful reports that effectively communicate how users can maximize the value of their data.
- Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of data sources and collection methods, offering recommendations to enhance data-gathering processes.
- Stay up to date with the latest data science technology, techniques and methods.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in solution development and programming skills in data science languages: R, Julia, SQL, Python
- Experience in using the Microsoft Azure platform for data science
- A University degree in a STEM subject 2:1 and above
Desired, but not essential:
- Experience in working with Environmental or Weather data
- Knowledge and experience of modern data science methods: ML, AI, big data and optimisation, especially in the context of solving business problems.
