Senior Data Analyst£45,000 - £55,000Cambridge, Hybrid 2-3 days per week in office

We are working with a fast-growing SaaS company in Cambridge leveraging data to drive innovation and enhance their offerings. Data is a core business function, and we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to take their analytics capabilities to the next level.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will support on data projects, influence business strategy with data-driven insights, and work closely with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for building scalable analytics solutions, optimising data workflows, and mentoring future junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support data analysis projects, providing strategic insights that will influence business decisions
  • Develop advanced dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Optimise data workflows and automate reporting processes where possible
  • Complex SQL queries to extract and analyse large datasets
  • Work closely with engineering teams to improve data infrastructure and governance
  • Support A/B testing and predictive analytics initiatives

Requirements

  • SQL, Python, or R
  • Power BI, Tableau
  • Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL
  • AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure
  • dbt, Apache Airflow, Alteryx (a plus)
  • 5+ years in data analysis, with a proven track record of leading analytics projects and stakeholder engagement.
