A leading and expanding wireless communications business based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire are seeking a senior level C / C++ Software Engineer to support the continuous development and maintenance ofLinux server applications using PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Apache. Optimising and customising Linux environments, leveraging the Yocto build system. You will play a key role in software coding for new R&D wireless products.

Skills and experience required:

  • Good experience in Linux server development.
  • Strong programming skills in C and C++ (C++17 and later).
  • Experience with database design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Linux customisation and networking protocols.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Asterisk and related protocols (SIP, RTP, RCTP, WebRTC).
  • SSL and certificate management.
