As their newest informatics specialist, you will get the chance to deliver and optimize their chemical and biological information systems.
This role would suit a drug discovery scientist with a passion for coding and software development. In this role you will help maintain and develop discovery research databases as well as the development of LIMS and Electronic Lab Notebooks. You will also collaborate closely, with key scientific personnel to develop new scientific information systems. You will also have the chance to design new templates for use in assays through liaison with the chemistry and biology teams.
If you have experience in the following, we would love to hear from you:
- Proficient in Python
- Experience in API usage of Cheminformatics packages
- An understanding of biological assay data
- Experience using data pipelining tools (Pipeline Pilot, KNIME)
- Template development within Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN)
- Experience with cloud technologies, AWS S3, Athena
- Full stack Web Development
- Industrial experience in the biotech/pharma sectors
The company can offer a competitive salary between £50,000 - £60,000, matched pension contribution up to 10%, private healthcare, 26 days annual leave, holiday purchase scheme, discretionary bonus & much more!
