  • A well-known marketing agency in Cambridge is seeking a forward-thinking digital marketer with paid media experience in an agency or in-house setting.
  • The role focuses on paid advertising with a 50/50 split between search engine and paid social, but candidates with broader digital marketing skills are encouraged to apply.
  • This position involves working on diverse accounts across various industries, focusing on both sales and brand awareness campaigns.
  • Candidates should have a strong background in paid media, be comfortable in client-facing roles, and be willing to mentor junior team members.
  • The agency offers a hybrid working model and is looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience, offering a competitive salary of £30,000 to £40,000.

We're working exclusively with one of Cambridge's most well-known marketing agencies, supporting them as they seek a forward-thinking open-minded digital marketer to join their team. We would love to hear from anybody with paid media experience in an agency setting, but we are also open to candidates from in-house that enjoy being busy, love managing multiple projects simultaneously and feel they have the attributes to be a success at an agency.

The role is heavily weighted to paid advertising, with a 50/50 split across search engine and paid social, but for the right person, the role could have a wider focus on areas such as SEO and other digital functions. The company are not only looking for a paid specialist, so if you're a more varied digital marketer with lots of paid media experience and do not want that to be your only focus, still get in touch. Your skills will be utilised, and your experience will be appreciated and used.

What's exciting about this role is that it's incredibly varied; you will be working across a number of different accounts, across many industry sectors, each with differing end goals. There'll be some campaigns where the focus is sales and ROAS, and others where it's brand awareness and your creativity is challenged. As it's a 360 agency this is not just a data-focused role where your head will be in Google Search Console all day (though data skills are essential) - you'll be in a collaborative environment and involved in all the stages of the campaigns, from client meetings through to progress reports.

So if you have a strong background in paid media across both social and search engines, are happy working in a role where you will be speaking with clients directly and also mentoring junior team members, then we would love to hear from you.

The agency is based in central Cambridge and operates a hybrid model of 3 days in 2 at home, as such candidates located in Royston, Peterborough, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Ely, Newmarket, Haverhill and Thetford are all invited to apply.
