Job Title: CAD Technician (M&E)
Location: Cambridge Or Norwich
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (Permanent Role)
Our client, a leading company in the construction and engineering sector, is currently seeking a skilled CAD Technician with experience in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) projects to join their team in Cambridge. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary of £30,000 to £40,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for M&E projects, ensuring all designs meet industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to support the design and development of systems.
- Maintain and update existing drawings and records in line with project requirements.
- Assist in the coordination of design revisions and project documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all technical designs.
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within M&E or a similar technical environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with knowledge of Revit being highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- A background in technical or engineering projects would be beneficial.
