Highways CAD Technician
Location: Cambridge
Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 plus package (dependent on experience)
Emtech are recruiting for a Civil Engineering Technician in Cambridge on behalf of a transport and infrastructure design consultancy. The Cambridge office is located in the City Centre and they are looking for someone with a few years experience within highway and infrastructure design projects.# ideally although CAD experience in other similar fields may also be considered.
Currently they are working on a range of interesting projects in the UK and internationally, this role is based within the transport team working on a mix of private sector schemes across retail, leisure, industrial, residential. As part of a small but growing business you will be able to take on more responsibility, go to site visits, attend meetings and have a varied role with training opportunities.
There is a real mix of schemes to get involved with across the UK and any opportunity for further study and training development.
Ideally they are looking for someone with the following experience:
- A good knowledge of AutoCAD for highway and infrastructure design projects
- Knowledge of S278, S38 and general road / draughting is desired
- Keen to learn and take on responsibility of projects
- Prior experience with Civil 3D or any 3D modelling software would be a bonus
