An 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated Primary School in Cambridge are looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistanst, working with children in Key Stage 1/2/3 and 4.

The school is exceptionally well resourced, offering a rich and rewarding education coupled with diverse cultural and extracurricular opportunities supported by a strong pastoral support system. You will be working in an inclusive community as a SEN Teaching Assistant, where all children are encouraged to be the best they can be.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working with children with a range of SEN, supporting on a 1:1 and small group basis. You will support children with both academic and personal progress in your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

What the role entails:

  • Supporting students with a range of SEN
  • Working in Key Stage 1/2/3/4
  • Working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Full Time & Long Term - until at least July 2025
  • £85 - £105 per day (depending on experience)
  • Located in Cambridge

SEN Teaching Assistant Criteria

  • Ideally will be qualified to degree level
  • Experience in a previous role working with SEN, whether paid or voluntary, or personal experience with SEN, would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Passionate about working in Primary Education
  • You must be able to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Hold a registered DBS, or be willing to apply for one ASAP
