Classroom Support

Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and learning activities.

Prepare classroom materials and resources.

Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.

Support pupils in understanding lesson content and staying on task.
Individual and Group Support

Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL learners.

Lead small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, or social skills.

Deliver tailored one-on-one support where required.
Pupil Development

Foster pupils' independence, confidence, and social development.

Monitor and record pupils' progress and report concerns to the teacher.

Promote inclusion and ensure all pupils feel safe and supported.
Administrative and Pastoral Duties

Support with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and record-keeping.

Help supervise pupils during break times, lunch, and school outings.

Assist with displays and classroom organisation.

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
Safeguarding and School Values

Adhere to school safeguarding policies and procedures.

Uphold the school's values, ethos, and behaviour expectations.

Participate in staff training, meetings, and ongoing CPD.
