??? Roles and Responsibilities:

Classroom Support

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and learning activities.

  • Prepare classroom materials and resources.

  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.

  • Support pupils in understanding lesson content and staying on task.

Individual and Group Support

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL learners.

  • Lead small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, or social skills.

  • Deliver tailored one-on-one support where required.

Pupil Development

  • Foster pupils' independence, confidence, and social development.

  • Monitor and record pupils' progress and report concerns to the teacher.

  • Promote inclusion and ensure all pupils feel safe and supported.

Administrative and Pastoral Duties

  • Support with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and record-keeping.

  • Help supervise pupils during break times, lunch, and school outings.

  • Assist with displays and classroom organisation.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.

Safeguarding and School Values

  • Adhere to school safeguarding policies and procedures.

  • Uphold the school's values, ethos, and behaviour expectations.

  • Participate in staff training, meetings, and ongoing CPD.
