Assistant Ecologist - Cambridge

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + Competitive Benefits Package

A leading environmental consultancy is looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join its team in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career ecologist to gain practical experience across a range of projects in the region.

About the Role

As an Assistant Ecologist, you will support senior team members with:

  • Field surveys - including habitat and protected species assessments
  • Ecological reporting - assisting with data analysis and report writing
  • Biodiversity enhancement - contributing to conservation initiatives
What We're Looking For
  • A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 2-3 Seasons of experience in ecological surveying (report writing experience is a plus)
  • CIEEM Membership
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)
