You will be working in a great residential and residential dementia care home for 55 residents, the home is in a great location, which is run by an award-winning charity, they are known foroffering exceptional care to residents, our professional standards are high.

Details

  • Experienced Deputy or Smaller Home Manager.
  • Experienced in managing a Team of Care and Senior Care staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop care staff to formulate effective care planning specific to problems of all residents, specifically to the problems of older confused residents.
  • Ensure residents are enabled and empowered to participate fully in decision making as appropriate.
  • Be constantly observing resident behaviours and staff interactions in order to ensure good care practice is maintained.
  • Assist in developing and encouraging social activities for the residents.
  • As delegated by the Home Manager to be responsible for medication including ordering, stock control and administering, in accordance with the Medication Policy.
