An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Controls Engineer to join a well-respected UK based machine builder. Due to ongoing growth a permanent position with fantastic opportunities for career progression has become available.This is primarily an electrical design and programming role for bespoke machinery.

OBJECTIVE

  • To be responsible for electrical and programming design work packages within a project
  • To meet agreed deadlines for electrical and programming design of equipment and systems

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To create electrical schematics for bespoke machinery
  • Create software and PLC programs for bespoke machines
  • Carry out commissioning of bespoke machinery
  • Carry out KUKA Robot programming for bespoke automation projects
  • Be prepared to support mechanical assembly and installation work

SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE

  • Beckhoff PLC programming experience in structured text
  • KUKA Robot Programming experience
  • Electrical Design experience (EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical / ELCAD)
  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access
