The successful candidate will play a vital role in the design and delivery of electrical building services for new-build and refurbishment projects in the education sector, focusing on energy efficiency, compliance, and sustainable solutions.

Electrical Design Engineer Job Overview

Electrical Design Engineer Job Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in electrical design within a building services consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, power distribution, and lighting systems.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and lighting calculation tools.
  • Familiarity with building regulations and standards (e.g., BS 7671, Part L, CIBSE guides).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
