We are currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work with our public sector client
6 months contract
Excellent day rate outside IR35
Location: 3 days a week on site & two remote in Cambridgeshire
The ideal candidates will have a proven Senior Infrastructure Engineer background within public sector experience ideally holding active SC clearance.
Essential Skills:
- Dell Avamar and Data Domain backup solutions, running on Dell IDPA's
- Experience of VMware suite, preferably VMware Cloud Foundation on Dell VxRails
- Microsoft Active Directory, Tier Model, Least Privilege Access, PAM, GPOs, DNS
- Understanding the principles of Zero Trust Architecture.
- Experience with creating technical designs, documentation, and policies
- Experience of delivery within a technical axis utilising both Agile and stage-gated Waterfall project delivery assurance methodologies.
Desirable
- VMware NSX-T
- Horizon, AppVolumes
- VMware vRealize Suite, Automation, Operations, Log Insight and Lifecycle Management
- Programming/Scripting Infrastructure as Code and Testing
- Experience of full stack Atlassian suite
- Knowledge of IT Service Management tools i.e. PRTG, SolarWinds, JIRA, ServiceNow, LogRhythm
