A Lead Electro-Mechanical Production and Test Technician with a background involving assembly and testing of electro-mechanical components and systems, will join a thriving award-winning Technology Company.

Working within the thermal imaging space, the successful Lead Production Technician will bring a range of knowledge to include fault-finding and debugging of electro-mechanical systems, assembly and SMT soldering, reading schematics and ideally some experience with optical assembly.

You will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and test processes, ensuring the efficient production of opto-electromechanical devices.

To be considered for this Lead Production role you will possess the following:

  • A relevant formal Engineering qualification.
  • Familiarity across electronic, electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Proven experience of Electro-mechanical assembly techniques.
  • SMT Soldering and PCB repair skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding and debugging skills.
  • Experience using a range of standard test equipment.
  • An understanding of basic programming.
  • Exposure to optical assembly is highly beneficial.

Applicants for this Lead Production role must have full eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions, possess 5+ years Production Engineering experience and hold an HNC/HND or Degree in an Engineering discipline.
