Electrical Technician ~ Aerospace | Cambridge | £19 Per Hour

Are you an experienced Electrical Technician with a background in aerospace, marine, or a similar industry?  Do you have strong electrical assembly and installation skills? 

Rubicon is exclusively supporting a global leader in aerospace manufacturing, in their search for skilled Electrical Technicians to join their growing team.  This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly technical environment, ensuring electrical systems meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

About the company:

Rubicon’s client specialises in high-end interiors. Their work is featured in some of the world’s most luxurious airliners, using advanced materials and precision engineering to create first-class seating and cabin components.

What you’ll be doing as an Electrical Technician:

  • Manufacturing and installing electrical harnesses and components
  • Testing and inspecting electrical assemblies to ensure compliance
  • Installing electrical components into aircraft galleys and other units
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Meeting set production targets while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations

What Rubicon’s client is looking for:

  • Electrical experience (3-5 years preferred, ideally within aerospace, marine or a similar sector)
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Time-served apprenticeship in an electrical discipline (preferred)
  • Strong IT skills, with experience using MRP systems
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management
  • Strong communication, teamwork skills, and a high regard for Health & Safety
