Electrician

A leading MEICA contractor delivering installation projects within electrical transmission and distribution is looking for experienced Electricians to work on a substation project in Cambridge as part of their work with UKPN. After this, there will be the chance to stay on and work on other sites locally.

If you have experience working within substations or other heavy industrial electrical engineering projects then this could be the perfect role for you.

Duties for Electrician:

Responsible for completing electrical installations in accordance with the company's safety rules and standards
Ensure health and safety policy is followed
Help to develop Electrical Improvers and Apprentices
Act in a professional manner when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients

Requirements for Electrician:

Experience within substations / industrial engineering
Relevant electrical qualification (ECS, JIB, 18th Edition etc)
BESC

Desirable for Electrician:

UKPN experience or tickets
Full driving licence
