Contract IC Design Engineer

Contract IC Design Engineer - Cambridge - Outside IR35 - 6 Months.

Overview:

Contract type: Outside IR35

Length: Initial 6 months (possibility to extend)

Hours: 37 hours a week, hybrid.

Rate: Competitive (£65-£75ph+ DoE)

A market leading technology design and engineering company, who work with global manufacturers and OEMS incorporating their unique IP from concept to mass production is currently growing their chip design team, presenting multiple opportunities to be at the forefront of innovation in a growing fabless semiconductor company that are backed by industry giants like Intel.

You will be responsible for RTL development of IP blocks, as well as all elements of the design flow, including simulation, synthesis, testbench development etc, working alongside the firmware and SoC teams.

Requirements:

• Strong Verilog and SystemVerilog skills for RTL development
• Minimum 5 years of experience with the full IC design flow, including: simulation, synthesis, timing closures, placement, routing, linting etc.
• Experience with industry standard peripherals and interfaces; SPI, I2C, JTAG, AMBA, AXI etc.
• Experience with analogue/mixed signal circuit design is highly desirable but not essential.
