GRADUATE ELECTRONICS ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY WITH A LEADING ELECTRONICS TESTING SOLUTIONS PROVIDER

  • Graduate Electronics Engineer in Cambridge, UK for a MEng or Electronic Engineering graduate (or similar)

Who you will be working for

We represent a global leader in electronics testing solutions, renowned for pioneering JTAG boundary scan systems. We're searching for a proactive mechanical engineer to join their expanding team. Your role involves developing new products, understanding market dynamics, and providing expert product support. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and innovate unique products that advance the business, while managing project risks and resolving conflicting requirements.
  • Efficiently manage your time and project contributions, ensuring effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Balance short-term customer applications and projects with long-term product development to support the business in meeting its objectives.
  • Comply with and enhance product development processes, ensuring our products are functional, manufacturable, reliable, sustainable, and future-proof.

Role Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and an inquisitive approach to new technologies.
  • A solid understanding of digital electronics, FPGAs, and embedded microprocessors.
  • Some experience with common laboratory equipment, design tools, methods, and best practices.
  • Preferably, some experience in writing HDL code or microcontroller firmware.
  • Experience in developing functional electronics, whether as proof-of-concepts or prototypes.
  • An understanding of the product lifecycle and comprehensive product development.
  • Proactive in communication and planning to seize opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • MUST have the right to work in the UK through British Citizenship, ILR or Settlement status. This client cannot sponsor nor can accept PSW visa candidates unfortunately.
