Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer - Cambridge

Leading global automotive technology company seeks an experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our growing team in Cambridge. You'll be working on cutting-edge chassis control products within a collaborative international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural development of electronic systems for automotive applications, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards
- Design and implement complex circuits including H-bridges, MOSFET switches, and various communication interfaces (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Own the full product development lifecycle from concept through to production, including verification and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to deliver innovative solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in electronic hardware design and embedded systems
- Strong expertise in circuit design, particularly with automotive microcontrollers and power electronics
- Proven track record in taking designs from architecture through to production
- Experience with automotive safety standards and functionally safe hardware development
- Proficiency with Altium Designer and SPICE simulation tools
- Experience with EMC, environmental testing, and design for manufacture
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
