Ultrasonic Engineer

Location: Cambridge

Ultrasonic Engineer required by fast-growing, pioneering Top Tech Company!

This is a varied, challenging role in a talented R&D team focusing on developing and improving a cutting-edge digital sensing device using advanced tomography technology. You will work on enhancing sensor sensitivity, refining signal processing algorithms, and applying deep-learning analytics to achieve real-time imaging. The work involves using AI-enabled GPUs and FPGA hardware for faster computational performance

Essential:

  • PhD or MSc in engineering, physics, medical, and/or mathematics
  • Ultrasound laboratory and Practical Signal processing skills with proficiency in MATLAB
  • Experience with electrical engineering fundamentals
  • At least 3yrs experience ultrasonic signal processing
  • Experience in developing complex imaging or tomographic algorithms
  • Knowledge of Python, C/C++
