Cyber Security Analyst (Microsoft Defender) Cambridge / WFH to £50k

Are you a Cyber Security technologist looking for an opportunity to progress your career whilst working on complex and interesting systems with continual learning opportunities?

You could be joining a market leading software house that's remote access product is used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

As a Cyber Security Analyst you will join a small team responsible for maintaining the security of systems, networks and data and will focus on Vulnerability Management and Microsoft Defender portal analysis. You'll continuously monitor, analyse and investigate security alerts and incidents within the Microsoft Defender portal, evaluate assets within the estate to ensure compliance and perform regular vulnerability assessments, managing penetration testing via a 3rd party.

Location / WFH:

There's a friendly and supportive team environment, you'll be able to work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Cambridge office once a month.

About You:

  • You have experience with Microsoft Defender and SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel to identify and analyse cyber security threats and incidents
  • You have a good working knowledge of threat landscapes including common attack vendors and emerging threats
  • You're familiar with common operating systems - Windows, Linux, MaxOS, Android and iOS
  • You're collaborative and enthusiastic with great communication skills, you're able to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • You're degree educated in a relevant discipline
