A fabulous opportunity has come up for a new Corporate Events Manager role, where you'll be responsible for the complete lifecycle of internal and external events, from concept to execution.

With lots of variety and a fast-paced environment, this role will include:

  • Responsible for the creation of events including conferences, dinners and meetings of various sizes) from ideation stage through to the coordination and management of these on the day.
  • Source, visit and select suitable venues that align with event requirements and budgets.
  • Organise catering services, track dietary requirements, book speakers, equipment rentals and layout requirements to create a comfortable and engaging environment for attendees.
  • Arrange restaurant bookings, travel and accommodation.
  • Manage attendees, invitations, RSVPs and any reasonable adjustments.
  • Carry out risk assessments and ensure Health and Safety requirements are met.
  • Manage and report on budgets and costings.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Liaise with Marketing team to provide the best exposure of the event.
  • Attend events personally to oversee all aspects and ensure a smooth running on the day.
  • Measure/monitor post event success.

Excitingly, this role will also include being responsible for building and managing a high performing team.

You'll be used to organising large corporate events simultaneously from commencement to completion, including budgets and tracking of costings, as well as line management experience.

Knowledge of health and safety requirements is also important.

You'll take pride in delivering high quality results and have excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.

Cambridge (hybrid working available)

Hours:

Monday-Friday - Full time hours with a policy that supports work/life balance.
