Hours: 45 hours per week, most weeks Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM start however, flexibility to work 5 over 7 days a week is required

Restore Harrow Green is looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Relocation Operatives on a fixed-term contract at our Sawston site. This is a hands-on role that involves significant manual handling, including heavy lifting and moving of items.

As a Relocation Operative, you'll be at the heart of our operations, moving and installing office furniture and other items to new premises, recycling centres, or storage facilities. You’ll be responsible for promoting company values, ensuring the safe loading and transport of goods, and delivering exceptional service levels through careful handling and property protection. This role involves a variety of tasks, including office relocations, handling specialist projects like hospital or lab moves, and managing fine art and furniture. Flexibility is key, as you'll also handle regular removals and storage tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Moving and installing office furniture and items internally, to new premises, recycling centres, or storage

  • Promoting company core standards and values

  • Ensuring safe loading and transportation of all furniture and effects

  • Providing extensive property protection to maintain service levels

  • Reliable transport to arrive at our Sawston site for a 7:30 AM start; this start time is non-negotiable

About You

  • Punctual, hardworking, and comfortable with physically demanding work

  • Able to deal with change and proactively spot and overcome potential pitfalls

  • Polite, friendly, with good communication skills

  • Careful and methodical approach to work with an honest and responsible attitude towards others' property
