This is a hands-on role that involves significant manual handling, including heavy lifting and moving of items.As a Relocation Operative, you'll be at the heart of our operations, moving and installing office furniture and other items to new premises, recycling centres, or storage facilities. You’ll be responsible for promoting company values, ensuring the safe loading and transport of goods, and delivering exceptional service levels through careful handling and property protection. This role involves a variety of tasks, including office relocations, handling specialist projects like hospital or lab moves, and managing fine art and furniture. Flexibility is key, as you'll also handle regular removals and storage tasks. Duties & Responsibilities:

Moving and installing office furniture and items internally, to new premises, recycling centres, or storage

Promoting company core standards and values

Ensuring safe loading and transportation of all furniture and effects

Providing extensive property protection to maintain service levels
Reliable transport to arrive at our Sawston site for a 7:30 AM start; this start time is non-negotiable

About You

Punctual, hardworking, and comfortable with physically demanding work

Able to deal with change and proactively spot and overcome potential pitfalls

Polite, friendly, with good communication skills

Careful and methodical approach to work with an honest and responsible attitude towards others' property

Strong team player who can also work on their own initiative
Comfortable with physically intensive tasks and manual handling
