As they prepare to apply for a license from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), they are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager with extensive experience in the crypto industry and a strong background in FCA interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures that align with FCA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Monitor ongoing compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, focusing on AML/KYC requirements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all FCA-related matters, including license applications, audits, and communications.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related topics, fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure proactive compliance measures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Compliance Manager within the cryptocurrency sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations with direct experience dealing with the FCA.
  • Strong understanding of AML/KYC requirements and other relevant compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) are advantageous.
