I am working with a FTSE 100 Listed Software company who are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their growing team in Cambridge.

The Role

You will be responsible for analysing payroll and financial operations, optimising efficiency, ensuring data accuracy, and driving financial growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate and certify global payroll financial records for accuracy.
  • Conduct variance analysis and assist regional teams with payment approvals.
  • Manage compliance filings and oversee year-end financial processes.
  • Collaborate with Treasury to ensure timely and accurate funding.
  • Troubleshoot general ledger entries and maintain precise financial reporting.
  • Address financial inquiries and assist with audit processes.
  • Assess and strengthen internal controls to mitigate risk.
  • Provide data-driven insights for compensation studies.
  • Accuracy and completeness of financial records and reporting.
  • Effective facilitation of audits and compliance requirements.
  • Proactive problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Share-Point).
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
  • Expertise in payroll, financial analysis, and compliance controls.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure.
