Accounts Manager Cambridge Salary £45,000 - £60,000
Butler Rose Public Practice are excited to be supporting our client, a dynamic and personal firm of chartered accountants with over twelve years of experience providing prompt, efficient service and valuable advice that are eager to appoint an experienced Accounts Manager. Based just south of Cambridge in modern offices with free parking, it caters to a diverse client base ranging from sole traders to national companies across Cambridgeshire and London.
Role Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse client portfolio ranging from small sole trader businesses to national companies across various sectors and of differing turnovers
- Prepare, review and filing of financial statements under FRS102-1A and FRS105 using TaxCalc
- Prepare, review and filing of corporation tax CT600 and VAT returns including R&D credits and grant approvals
- Preparing personal tax self-assessment for directors and sole traders
- Engage with clients in-house and on site
- Managing and supporting the team and mentoring trainees
Personal Requirements
- Ideally ACCA qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience with experience working for a UK based accountancy practice at a Senior/Manager level
- Highly proficient in the use of Xero, as well as TaxCalc and BrightPay
- Excellent client relationship building qualities
- Proven supervisory/managerial experience supporting a team of accounts staff
