Your role as Audit ManagerAs an Audit Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service while supporting the growth of the business. Your key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a proactive and efficient service that exceeds client expectations.
- Overseeing the planning, review, and completion of audit and related assignments, ensuring high standards throughout.
- Managing and mentoring a team of junior auditors, providing training, feedback, and support.
- Contributing to business development by attending events, preparing proposals, and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Collaborating closely with partners and other professionals to ensure seamless client service and team efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed as Audit Manager
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, CA, or ACCA) with significant external audit experience.
- A proven track record of working with entrepreneurial, OMB, SME, and AIM-listed clients.
- Strong commercial awareness and an appetite for business development activities.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, partners, and staff.
- Previous experience managing and motivating a team to achieve their best.
- A detail-oriented approach with the ability to monitor budgets and manage workloads effectively.
