Our client based in Cambridge are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join them on a 6 month FTC. Reporting into the Head of Finance, they are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner who can assist our client through working with various business units to help with cost reductions. This role is on a 6 month contract and can offer a salary of £50,000 to £55,000 pro rata per annum. This role does require someone to be on-site 5 days a week at their site in Cambridge. This role requires someone who can start immediately.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing suite of standard management reports
- Working closely with various stakeholder to assist with deficit reduction programme
- Strong review of use of software packages
- Developing strong relationships with different business units
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of costs, working capital, balance sheets and capex
- Translating this understanding into actionable insights and action plans
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Professional Accounting Qualification e.g. ACA, CIMA or equivalent
- Experience in cost management and analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively and provide appropriate challenge and insight
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
- Good analytical skills
