We are recruiting a Head of Financial Shared Services on a 2-year fixed-term contract to support a significant restructure and transformation project.The RoleReporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading financial operations. This position is responsible for developing, streamlining, and overseeing end-to-end financial processes and systems while driving efficiency, accuracy, and operational excellence.A key focus of this role will be leading finance transformation initiatives, including designing and potentially establishing a new service centre model as part of a broader operating model transformation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership – Lead a team of three direct reports and provide strategic guidance to a wider team of around 100 staff.
  • Operational Excellence – Design, implement, and optimise scalable, innovative, and comprehensive shared service models.
  • Process & System Optimisation – Oversee all financial systems, ensuring robust internal controls, sound corporate governance, and continuous process improvements.
  • Performance & Compliance – Develop and implement KPIs and service level agreements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Finance Transformation – Play a key role in major transformation projects, ensuring seamless integration of new processes and financial systems.
