The firm's owner is looking for an experienced Senior Chartered Tax Manager to join the team with a clear path to becoming a Partner and leading the business in the coming years as senior members of the team plan to step down. This is an exceptional chance for a tax professional with leadership ambitions to step into a strategic role in an established, employee-owned firm with a strong reputation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships, providing key advisory services on related tax issues.
  • Stay updated on tax legislation and advise accordingly.
  • Identify business development opportunities and support firm growth.
  • Mentor and train junior tax professionals.
  • Review and sign off on tax returns and reports prepared by junior staff.
  • Oversee tax compliance.
  • Improve internal tax processes for better efficiency and compliance.

About you:

  • Strong UK practice Tax experience - personal tax experience is preferable.
  • ACCA/ ACA/ ICAEW qualified.
  • CTA qualified (desired).
  • At least 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong desire to pursue a pathway to becoming a Partner.
