Job Purpose
  • Autonomously manage a diverse client portfolio, monitoring the commercial aspects of portfolio management, ensuring deadlines and fee recovery targets are met
  • Deliver advisory services including M&A transactions, tax due diligence, share option schemes, exit planning etc.
  • Undertake technical compliance reviews of corporation tax computations prepared by the team
  • Support business development strategies, attending prospective meetings and quoting for services
  • Oversee junior team members, including workflow management, quality control, and providing training
  • Build trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving
  • Keep up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team

The Successful Applicant
  • ATT / CTA qualified or part-qualified
  • Qualified by experience within UK practice would also be considered
  • Experience in personal tax, VAT and Stamp Duty desirable, but not essential
  • Technically efficient across taxation
  • Supervisory experience with good people management skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
  • A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
  • Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
  • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to manage projects autonomously
  • Commercial business acumen
