Senior Ecologist

They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Ecologist who will assist on leading complex ecological projects, providing expert advice and conducting ecological assessments and surveys.

Responsibilities of a Senior Ecologist include:

  • Lead and manage ecological surveys and assessments, including habitat and species surveys, ecological impact assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior ecologists and other team members.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, proposals, and documentation for clients and regulatory submissions.

Requirements include;

  • A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or in a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, planning policies, and environmental impact assessment processes.
  • Proven experience in conducting and managing a range of ecological surveys and assessments.
