Food Manufacturing experience is essential

 

I am recruiting on behalf of well known, successful, multi-site food manufacturer in Cambridgeshire.

They are looking to make a hire in the form of a Technical Customer Account Manager/Senior QA Manager. In this role, you will take full responsibility for all technical aspects of key customer relationships, ensuring product safety, quality, and customer satisfaction across multiple sites. 

You will need to be an all rounder for this one, yes you will be busy, but you'll be in a supportive team so you won't be out of your depth. 

Some of your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the technical relationship with allocated customers and act as their primary technical contact.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP-based quality systems, customer standards, and legal requirements.
  • Conducting factory audits to assess standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and support to internal teams and customers.
  • Implement corrective actions following audits, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Work with production and service departments to improve technical performance.
  • Ensure timely and effective management of customer complaints, maintaining high service levels. 

Ideal Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the food industry, including auditing.
  • Working knowledge of BRC standards, HACCP, food legislation, and food hygiene.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, and able to demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP/Innova.
  • You will need to be able to drive and have your own means of transport.
