TimePlan Education are excited to assist secondary schools across Cambridge and the surrounding areas with the recruitment of General Cover Supervisors for ad hoc supply starting in September 2024.Position Details:
  • Role: General Cover Supervisor
  • Location: Various mainstream, secondary schools across Cambridge and the surrounding areas
  • Ofsted Rating: Many of the schools are rated 'Good'
  • Timings: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Start Date: ASAP
Role Expectations:

A successful Cover Supervisor will:

  • Build a strong rapport with students quickly
  • Remain calm, confident, and engaging in unfamiliar settings
  • Teach a variety of subjects using pre-prepared resources
  • Maintain class discipline and keep students focused on their learning objectives

Cover Supervisors are essential in maintaining the continuity of students' education during short-term teacher absences. This role is crucial across all types of schools and educational stages.
