KM Recruitment is seeking a Childcare / Early Years Trainer Assessor for a home/field-based position that requires flexibility with travel.
The salary for this full-time, permanent role ranges from £28,000 to £32,000, depending on skills and experience.
Candidates must hold a recognised Assessor award and have experience delivering Childcare Apprenticeships, along with solid occupational experience at a management level in Early Years Childcare.
A Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years, a full driving licence, and the use of a personal vehicle are also required.
Duties include assessing learners, supporting them with Functional Skills, managing documentation, and meeting Assessor KPIs.

Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Must have experience of delivering Childcare Apprenticeships (New Standards).
Must hold solid occupational experience within Early Years Childcare (Nursery setting) at Management level.
Must hold own Level 3 qualification, or above, in Early Years
Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
Flexibility is required with working hours and travel, as and when required to meet learners needs.

Duties include:

Assess and support learners working towards the Early Years Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
Delivering via a blended learning approach (Microsoft Teams and face-to-face).
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
Develop own schemes of work.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely assessments / visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
Work to learner review and completion timescales.
