We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Surveyor to work for our client who is based in Swavesey on a permanent, full-time basis.


As a Contracts Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and project teams to manage commercial aspects of projects, from pre-contract to post-completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize site activities through cost management, monitoring, and control.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts.
  • Negotiate and administer sub-contracts.
  • Manage project variations and claims.
  • Prepare and submit progress payments.
  • Provide commercial support and mentoring to junior staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in a commercial or pre-construction role.
  • Working knowledge of JCT and NEC suite of contracts.
  • Current CSCS card.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and system databases.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Background training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing. (beneficial)
  • HNC or HND in building services.
  • Quantity Surveying formal academic training.
