The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes in the absence of teachers, ensuring that students follow their lesson plans and remain engaged.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain a positive, focused learning environment.
- Support students with various educational needs and ensure they continue to make progress.
- Adapt to different school settings and subject areas, ensuring that each class runs smoothly.
About You
- Experience as a Cover Supervisor, Unqualified Teacher, or in a similar support role is desirable, but not essential.
- A passion for working with secondary school students and helping them stay on track with their studies.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and with a variety of subjects.
- DBS checked (or willing to undergo a DBS check).
