Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Senior QA Manager to join their business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Work closely with the lead Technical Manager to achieve technical and quality objectives, ensuring that all operational teams meet the company's high standards.
* Lead the maintenance, improvement, and implementation of the Company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with the latest industry standards and legislation.
* Oversee and guide the HACCP team, ensuring that all processes and controls are effectively implemented to produce safe, high-quality products.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments for new processes, products, or raw materials, establishing necessary controls to safeguard quality and safety.
* Drive quality achievement and performance improvements across the organisation, promoting a culture of excellence.
* Oversee all internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and effective communication of quality-related matters with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Implement and monitor KPIs for quality, analysing weekly data to ensure compliance and drive improvements.
* Arrange and manage lab sampling, defining testing limits, analysing results, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Motivate, supervise, and develop the Quality team, setting clear objectives and ensuring that targets are met. Manage team performance, provide training, and mentor staff on quality projects.
* Ensure a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety standards, collaborating with the Group Health and Safety Manager.
