Technician/Operator

We are working with a manufacturer based in Cambridge who is looking for a Technician/Operator to work as part of the production team supporting the early/late production operation.

Expectation

As a Technician you will be responsible for regular R&D system cleans, material collection and heat treatments according to procedure.

Record data identifying and reporting issues and unexpended trends.

Operate in house systems according to safety protocols recording key parameters and identifying and troubleshooting issues.

Assist in assuring all material is properly characterised.

Keep records of stock inventory.

Perform other assigned tasks and complete work on schedule.

Key skills required

Previous experience working as a Technician or Operator

Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems would be beneficial.

Knowledge of good mechanical working practices.

Problem solving skills

Process operation experience

Hands on and the ability to work with tools

Good attention to details being able to spot trends when systems are not functioning as expected

Working safely in PPE and sometimes confined spaces.
