Herts Resourcing Group (HRG) is currently working with a college in Cambridge and we're looking for a Assistant Head of Department for the Motor Vehicle and Technical Construction team.
As an Assistant Head of Department for Electrical Installations you will support the Head of Department to provide high quality management, leadership and guidance across the curriculum and to provide an excellent learning experience which ensures high achievement for all students, through exemplary practice in teaching, learning and assessment.

The Electrical Installations curriculum area consists of the following:
-Electrical Installations
-Installation and maintenance electrician Apprenticeship standard.
-They offer Electrical Installations courses across two campuses thus the role requires flexibility to travel between these locations as needed.
-Assisting the Head of Department in managing and developing the curriculum, including the management of staff and resources in the area.
-To improve outcomes for students by achieving and maintaining high standards of performance through tracking, monitoring and inspiring staff and students.
-Play a pivotal role in Quality and developing the area further.
Must have:
· Be passionate about education and developing learners’ aspirations.
· Be a natural leader with the charisma to inspire.
· The relevant subject trade qualifications.
· At least 5 years teaching experience leading a team within the FE sector.
· Clean drivers license and access to a vehicle.
· The right to work in the UK.
