Reed further Education are seeking an ESOL Lecturer to join our educational team on a temporary ongoing basis. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about teaching English to speakers of other languages. The position offers up to 15 hours of teaching per week in the vibrant and historic city of Cambridge.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality ESOL lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to facilitate language development.
  • Adapt teaching materials and methods to suit different learning styles and levels of ability.
  • Engage with students to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the ESOL programme.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and progress for all students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A recognised teaching qualification in ESOL or related field.
