They're seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead a small, multidisciplinary development team and deliver robust, thoroughly tested electro-mechanical equipment.
The Role:
+ Lead the R&D team
+ Manage all new product development
+ Develop new products – concept to production
+ Create innovative CAD designs
+ Prototype, test & validate designs
+ Mechanism & component design
Requirements:
+ Demonstrable team management experience
+ Experienced in designing electro-mechanical/scientific products
+ Hands-on experience managing end-to-end product development
+ 3D CAD design – Solidworks
+ Practical experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting
+ Knowledge of injection moulding, machining and assembly techniques
