Job Description:
Jark Cambridge are seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our valued client, covering the Cambridge/Newmarket area. The role involves maintaining the grounds of stores across the region, with the opportunity to work additional hours with overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to various stores in your assigned area using a company van (fuel card provided)
Maintain the grounds around the stores using petrol-powered equipment, including a lawn mower, hedge cutter, and strimmer
Ensure that all equipment is properly fueled and maintained, with the ability to refill and mix petrol when required
Manage time effectively to visit multiple stores in a day
Work independently and be responsible for maintaining high standards of grounds care
Requirements:

Clean UK driving license
Over 25 years old (for insurance purposes)
No prior grounds maintenance experience required, but experience in gardening or similar roles would be beneficial
Willingness to work longer hours, as overtime is available
Comfortable with using petrol-powered equipment and refueling when necessary
