We are recruiting a HR Manager role for a small engineering and scientific consultancy business based on the outskirts of Cambridge, parking available. Reporting to the one of the Directors, you will be responsible for the managing the HR function in a stand-alone capacity however you will be part of a larger global business. Salary up to £55k FTE, they role can be offered for 4 or 5 days a week. The environment offers a positive and engaging place to work people are motivated to do their best work and where egos are left at the door. You will be experienced HR Manager, who would enjoy working with a technical people in a 'hands on' - operational HR role.The role requires you to –
  • Managing the day-to-day HR operations for the whole employee life cycle
  • Managing the monthly payroll
  • Delivering the HR people plan
  • Leading on employee relations case management (low level)
  • Coordinating and delivering training and career plans
  • Leading on employee engagement initiatives
